Purchase anxiety is quite common for people to go through stress as they make decisions. But it is extremely stressful for a parent who's making this decision of what childcare center to use. They can usually reduce the sign of anxiety if you offer a guarantee, offer to answer their questions, use testimonials and work on building connections.
So let's talk about the guarantee for a second. You can offer pretty much anything that you want. So you want to make sure that you've done that by writing articles. Also include bios of yourself and your staff, any licensing or certification awards that you have as well. Anything that establishes your expertise.
And then you want to build some connections. It always helps if you take an existing parent that's with you and happy and share their testimony as well. Another way to build connections is to have an automated email system so you can write and regularly send out emails to them, explaining exactly what's going on for the week. Also encouraging them to have a two-way dialogue with you is important as well. And I know that I've already mentioned it but testimonials are always great to reduce that purchase anxiety. The more live video testimonials, and they don't have to be perfect videos. It's much better if they come off as just natural parents talking to the camera expressing how they feel about the preschool and the purchase anxiety and how it was reduced for them.
